1. About PayChallan

PayChallan is a technology-driven, independent digital platform that helps users
search, check, and pay pending traffic challans (fines) online.
We provide a convenient interface that displays challan information and facilitates
payment through third-party payment gateways.


PayChallan is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by
the Government of India, any State Transport Department, the Ministry of Road
Transport and Highways, Parivahan, e-Challan portals, or any other government
authority. We act solely as an independent intermediary platform.

2. Eligibility

By using our Services, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or are using the Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  • You have the legal authority and right to enter into these Terms.
  • You are the legal owner of the vehicle, or are duly authorized by the owner, to search for and pay challans on the vehicle in question.
  • All information you provide (including vehicle registration numbers and payment details) is accurate, current, and complete.

3. Description of Services

Through the Website, you may:

  • Search for pending traffic challans using a vehicle registration number.
  • View available challan details, including status and amount due, as retrieved from third-party or government data sources.
  • Make payments toward outstanding challans using UPI, credit card, debit card, net banking, or digital wallets through secure third-party payment gateways.
  • Access customer support for challan or payment-related queries.

We do not issue, levy, waive, cancel, or adjudicate traffic challans.
All challans are issued by the relevant government or law enforcement authority,
and we merely display information sourced from available databases and facilitate
the payment process.

4. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to display accurate and up-to-date challan information,
we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, reliability,
or timeliness of any challan data displayed on the Platform.
Challan records are subject to change, delay, or error at the source,
and discrepancies may occur due to database synchronization issues,
incorrect vehicle number entries, or third-party data limitations.


You are solely responsible for independently verifying challan details
with the appropriate government authority before making any payment.

PayChallan shall not be held liable for any loss, penalty,
or inconvenience arising from inaccurate, outdated,
or incomplete information displayed on the Platform.

5. Payments

  • All payments are processed via secure third-party payment gateway providers. We do not store your complete card, banking, or UPI credentials.
  • By initiating a payment, you authorize us and our payment partners to process the transaction on your behalf.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that the correct vehicle registration number and challan details are selected before completing a payment.
  • We are not responsible for payments made against incorrect vehicle numbers or challan entries submitted by you.
  • Convenience fees, processing charges, or gateway fees (if any) will be disclosed before payment confirmation.
  • Successful payment does not guarantee immediate reflection of payment status in official government records.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Once a payment is successfully processed and confirmed, it generally cannot be cancelled, reversed, or refunded.
  • For duplicate payments or technical issues, please contact our support team.
  • Refunds, where applicable, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
